Ok, I had to piece the word document into 3 different documents in order to email it out and that seems to be the only way to get it to you. A Bit of Bad News

As fun as our night was, there was a bit of bad news: We didn't take into account the 18% gratuity that was added to our catering bill and we came out $318 short. We need to come up with that money as soon as possible. So, if you could find it in your hearts to give a little extra, it would be greatly appreciated! Please let me know if you are willing to donate.

The Big Night

On Saturday, May 30, 2009 the Albertville High School Class of '99 celebrated it's 10 year reunion at Gunter's Landing. What a night! It was so good to see all of you and I'm so glad that you came. Thank you for making our reunion very special. I've added a few of my pictures and if you have pictures that you would like to share on the blog, please email me (barclan@hotmail.com) and I'll be sure to add them.

For those of you who weren't able to make it, we missed you. Several of you were present in our slide show and it made us wish that you were there with us. Hopefully you'll make it to the next one.

Even though there are a few faces we can't see in this picture, it was the best one that I had. Tina was so graciously showing us her middle finger in all the rest!







Again it was so good to see all of you. (You looked FABULOUS) I cant' wait until we can do it again! Let's keep in touch and don't let 10 more years go by before we see one another!

Money Matters

Due to the fact that there are some people that we have yet to get in touch with, we will still be accepting money for the reunion.  So, if you haven't turned yours in yet and still want to come...YOU CAN!  

Where Are They Now?

If you do not turn in your "where are they now" information sheets by WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, you will NOT be included in the books.  Even if you are not coming to the reunion, you can still be included in the books.

Thanks to the 41 of you who have already turned in your information.  The final product is going to look GREAT!

Deadline Extention

Thank you so much to those of you who have turned in your money and "where are they now" information!   If you haven't turned in your money/information yet, I have good news.  We will be extending the deadline until May 15th.  So there's still time!  If for some reason you know you're going to come but can't get your money in by the 15th, please email Alaina at barclan@hotmail.com to let us know and we'll work something out.   

The reunion will be here before you know it!  I hope you're all getting excited.  We'll see you soon!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

This is for all the ladies:

We will be having a girl's night out on Thursday, April 30. The plan is to meet in the Lowe's parking lot at 5 pm to drive to Bridge Street in Huntsville. We'll have a quick inexpensive dinner together and then go shopping for our reunion outfits. This will be a fun time to catch up and spend some quality girl time together. Smile For The Camera!

We want to put together a slide show for the reunion.  So break out the old photo albums and take a stroll down memory lane!  These pictures don't have to be JUST from senior year.  They can be during any of our high school years.  So have fun and try to have the pictures submitted by April 30!  If you don't have a scanner, you can  mail the pictures.  Be sure to write your name on the back and they will be returned to you at the reunion.

Welcome!

Hello class of '99!  Can you believe it has been TEN years?  My, how time flies!   It's time to start planning for our reunion.  First things first...we need to find everyone!  So please, leave your contact information in the comment section.  If you do not want this information to be public you can email it to me at barclan@hotmail.com.  

For now, all I need is your mailing address.  We may be asking for more information at a later date. 

We will be sending out a survey to get your ideas about the reunion.  The link will be posted here.  We want as many people as possible to participate, so your input is very valuable. Katie and I have been sharing some good ideas, but we want to hear what you have to say! We want this reunion to be a huge success so that you look forward to all of them in the future!
